Enable Login/Logout Using Passcode Lock in Line App on Android

If you are using Line messenger on your Android device for some time now, you must have noticed that there is no logout option. If you want the logout feature just to make sure that nobody except you can access your private information such as chat history, friends list, etc. on your Android smartphone, you can use a very useful hidden feature of Line messenger called Passcode Lock.

This feature let's you set a Passcode for the Line app on your device. After you have set the passcode, Line will ask you to enter this passcode every time it is started on your device.

Note: If you forget this Passcode which is a 4 digit number, you will have to reinstall Line to use it, and your chat history will be removed.

How to Enable Passcode in Line App on Android?

Tap on More at the top-right and then tap on Settings.

In the Settings screen, tap on Privacy.

Tap on Passcode Lock.

Tap on Passcode Lock to enable it

 

Set a Passcode and confirm it.

When you start Line the next time, it will ask you to enter the passcode.

You will have to enter Passcode every time Line starts

 

Now, you can be worry free about the privacy your Line app's information.
